The Faroese trawler Enniberg has recently been rewarded with a prize for bringing frozen fish fillets of premium quality to the British market.

It is The Frozen at Sea Fillets Association (FASFA) that has rewarded Enniberg with this latest prize. FASFA´s objective is to promote the benefits of frozen at sea fillets of cod, haddock and saithe and Enniberg has received the prize for producing the best frozen fillets this year.

FASFA was formed in 2001 and has its headquarters in Hull. Around 87 vessels are operated by companies based in Norway, Iceland, Faeroe Islands, UK, Russia and other European countries. FASFA supplies sea fillets to over 80 % UK fish and chip shops.

Mortan Johannesen, the owner of Enniberg, received a plaque at a reception in London last month. Last year the shipping company JFK Trol also received the same prize.
